First Pulse is an installation art piece where the user creates on-screen forms and imagery based on bodily rhythms. This is accomplished by connecting the user to a device that reads heart rate and breath and then sending that information to a Max/MSP patch. The patch converts body rhythm information to visual data which is then projected on to a screen.
